My name is Chris Hustad, and I am the head of development and marketing for the Nodak Network. I have a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems as well as Minors in both Business Administration and Computer Science from North Dakota State University (2001). I have been studying the Internet since 1996 and have been developing heavily since 2002. I have developed or consulted in over 75 sites in the outdoors and my most notable sites that I operate are Nodak Outdoors and Duck Hunting Chat. I offer a unique skill set to outdoor businesses, as I am not only skilled in web design and marketing, I am an avid outdoorsman myself. I am lucky enough to live within a short driving distance of almost anything that walks, flies, or swims. And with my education and experience as “the middle man” between business and technology, I can relate your message in a way that’s appealing to the outdoor markets. There are a lot of great developers out there, but not many know how to design for the outdoors. I am personally involved with every project from start to finish, and I am usually available via phone or email between 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. most days of the year. Web design has come a long ways the past decade. It’s too easy for sites to look dated nowadays, and the public is driving the need for more information available NOW. I have developed or maintained over 50 hunting websites and fishing websites (as well as many non-outdoor related) since 2002. I keep up with technology to offer the latest web standards. Internet Marketing
My entire network has grown due to my work in Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimiztion (SEO), and I’ve been able to consult with many great companies in creating their own niche network of traffic. Simply put, my goal is to hit your entire target market and bring your product or service to the forefront on search engines. You cannot hit your target market any better than on the Internet, and it offers the best return on your investment. And this traffic continues for years to come.

Ecommerce
I currently have 5 ecommerce shopping carts live and 2 under development. I build sites to perform on search engines. Your product will be displayed in a layout that’s not only easy for the public to use and order, but it will also be well placed in various search engine results. Say for example, you’re selling a “large blue widget” – you should find that in search engine results and in shopping directories such as Froogle. Video Production
I have 4 years of film experience from filming to editing. I released my first DVD in 2005 and have been editing ever since. I am available to consult or help physically put your whole production together. I have 4 cameras as well as a high end Canon SLR for still photography. I have experience in editing and DVD authoring and can produce your entire project.
Writing
I have been writing for the outdoors since 2002. My work has been featured on Nodak Outdoors, Dakota Country Magazine, Outdoors News, and other various newspaper and website publications. I currently have an article and review site, ChrisHustad.com. I am also the sole editor of Nodak Outdoors & Duck Hunting Chat. Public Speaking
I have 5 years of training and sales experience in the software industry, and presenting to large crowds was part of the routine. I have been a guest speaker or MC at various Delta Waterfowl and Ducks Unlimited events, as well as guest appearances on radio shows such as Ed Schultz, Doug Leier, Game & Fish Radio, and a few other local programs. My specialties in presentations are for the fishing and waterfowl industry, with a deep photography and knowledge support on most topics. Photography
I am currently on my 3rd camera, a Digital Canon Rebel with various lenses. I’ve logged over 10,000 photos in various lighting and action situations.
